North Pacific Grilled Kombu
Ingredients
5g Kombu chunks
1 Halibut fillet
1 cup miso paste
1 cup Mirin (Japanese Sweet rice Wine)
1/2 cup sake
2 tablespoons of honey
Instructions:
Grill Halibut and Kombu on the BBQ or a grill pan on medium heat.
For the miso kombu sauce:
Whisk miso paste, mirin, sake, wakame, and honey all together in the saucepan and then and bring the sauce to boil over medium heat
Once bubbling reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 min until thickened
Serve with a squeeze of lemon and miso kombu sauce.
